Project Engineer

Engineering Department

- Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering degree, or equivalent
- Approx. 5 years’+ experience in the production of automated machinery, with involvement in engineering projects from concept through to completion
- Excellent knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques, particularly welding and machining processes
- Advanced skills with the CAD design program SolidWorks is essential, with knowledge of structural analysis software preferred
- Knowledge of methods for the design of safe systems using hazard analysis techniques (e.g. Energy and Toxicity analysis, FMEA, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent organisational skills and work ethic

Senior Project Engineer

Engineering Department

- Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering degree, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ experience, including a minimum of 5 years supervising teams of Engineers
- Advanced skills with the CAD design program SolidWorks and structural analysis software
- Advanced project management skills with the ability to lead the engineering effort on a project with minimal oversight
- Excellent knowledge of a variety of different materials and fabrication techniques.
- Strong communication skills including the ability to elicit requirements from clients and colleagues and interpret the implications from a ‘real world’ perspective.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Control Systems Engineer

Controls Department

- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated technical experience and competence in a Controls environment
- Thorough understanding of programming across a broad range of languages
- Advanced problem-solving skills for control systems
- Ability to work under minimal supervision either as an individual or part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving work demands and schedules

Electrical CAD Drafter

Controls Department

- Demonstrated capacity for high-quality and timely electrical CAD design
- Electrical Design degree, or equivalent experience
- High-level experience in relevant software applications, notably CAD design programs EPLAN Electric P8 and SolidWorks are essential
- High-level knowledge of Australian electrical standards and codes. American standards and codes highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work under minimal supervision either as an individual or part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving work demands and schedules

Workshop Co-ordinator

Engineering Fabrication Department

- Open to recent graduates with Engineering Trade qualification or similar
- Intermediate knowledge of mechanical assembly and steel fabrication processes
- Ability to read complex engineering drawings, including a good understanding of weld symbols, Australia welding codes and standards (eg. AS1554, etc.)
- Competent computer and standard MS Office software skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills, and great attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving work demands and schedules
- Great communication skills including the ability to interpret instructions and procedures
- Prior experience in workshop practices will be considered advantageous.
