3D GENERALIST

Creature Technology Co. is looking for a 3D Generalist / Animator / Designer.

If you're looking for a way to use your 3D creative skills in a unique animatronic environment, we are a looking for you to join our Digital team on animation, modelling, rigging, previz, pipeline and more.

We work on a range of live, mostly giant, animatronic experiences around the globe. We have people from amazingly diverse backgrounds, it’s not where you come from that we care about, but what you can do.

If your skillset includes Maya, Zbrush and Rhino3d with a dash of Solidworks/3dcoat/Revit/Python we’d love to hear from you!

TECHNICAL ARTIST

Creature Technology Co. is looking for a Technical Artist.

The Technical Artist is responsible for supporting the creative intent of Creature Technology Co. projects with technical solutions and tools.

Key selection criteria include:
- Demonstrated experience of CG asset creation and FX within a production environment.
- 3+ years pf Python
- Houdini ability.
- Pipeline experience with Maya and other 3rd party tools
- Real-time project creation (Unreal and Unity)
- Organized workflow and thorough documentation (latter can be using Confluence)
- Ability to identify areas where technical tools can save time or produce a better Animated Figure.

CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

We are a looking for a highly skilled individual to work with our established team of Controls Engineers on the design, development, documentation and testing of our C-Tech control system product. This role involves significant amounts of programming in object-oriented languages, and would suit someone with a strong programming background.

Working with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, you will be involved in all aspects of Control Systems Engineering; from clearly documenting system design, developing control system software, and actively participating in the commissioning & testing of the product.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

- Minimum of 5 years experience in Control Systems Engineering with involvement in projects from concept to completion.
- A self-starter skilled in industrial control system software applications and programming languages such as SQL, C#, Python.
- Familiarity with object-oriented development methodologies and SQL databases
- Familiarity with software development support tools such as Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Trello and Confluence
- Experience with Beckhoff industrial controllers, TwinCAT 3 software, Ignition SCADA platform.
- Demonstrated experience with motion control systems including hydraulic, electric and servo actuation.
- Demonstrated understanding of Machine Functional Safety.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and commitment to quality.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Working with our existing team of Electrical, Mechatronic and Control Systems Engineers, you will be involved in all aspects of Electrical Engineering; from clearly documenting design, to developing electrical systems, and actively participating in the commissioning & testing of the product.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated electrical engineering experience in the production of controls & power distribution systems for machinery, with involvement in the electrical design from concept through to completion.
- Experience in wiring design for machines and developing wiring schematics
- Knowledge of methods for the design of safe systems using hazard analysis techniques (e.g. FMEA, HRA etc.).
- Knowledge of safe design for machinery (AS4024, IEC 13849)
- Experience with a range of industrial motion equipment including electric and hydraulic servo design highly regarded
- Intermediate skills in project management
- Relevant software applications, notably CAE design programs, Eplan Electric P8, and SolidWorks 3D, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of PLC control systems
- Knowledge of battery powered mobile equipment and/or portable power systems
- Experience with designing to international standards. UL 508A Highly regarded.
- Conduct minor electrical fabrication (fault finding to component level)
- Strong communication skills including the ability to elicit requirements from clients and colleagues and interpret the implications from a ‘real world’ perspective.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
